Roszdravnadzor is looking for young staff

This year, competition for the studying at the expense of the state budget in medical universities has increased by 15%. Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko noted the very good preparation of applicants. Now the task of today’s students, who have chosen the noble and responsible mission of saving lives and protecting people’s health as their future profession, is not only to fully master theoretical knowledge and practical skills, but also to learn to apply them in real life conditions, in clinics, hospitals, maternity hospitals, laboratories, pharmacies, specialized scientific institutes, ministries and authorities. And wherever they continue their professional path, they will always encounter the system of state surveillance in the field of healthcare.

Today, on the Knowledge Day, the Chairman of the Public Council under the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare (Roszdravnadzor), Victor Dmitriev, held an open lesson for senior students of the Far Eastern State Medical University, introducing them to the areas of work of Roszdravnadzor and the opportunity for future specialists to self-realize in the profession by choosing to serve in the field of state control in healthcare. He noted: “Science does not stand still. Every year, new methods and technologies come into everyday medical practice that make it possible to more effectively combat human ailments. And every new approach to treatment, innovative medicine or high-tech medical equipment requires careful testing and confirmation of their effectiveness and safety. Roszdravnadzor today is precisely the sovereign’s supervising eye that guards the interests of patients, while developing and improving its own competencies.” Dmitriev also spoke about the activities of the Public Council, its role in ensuring the needs and interests of citizens in terms of activities related to Roszdravnadzor, and the electronic reception, which any resident of Russia can contact with their questions, complaints, and statements.

The chief state inspector of the department for organization of control over the quality and safety of medical care to the population, Maria Martynenko, acted as a co-speaker, and told the graduates about employment options in the Territorial Body of Roszdravnadzor for the Khabarovsk Territory and the Jewish Autonomous Region. The information received aroused keen interest among students, who asked the speakers professional questions.

Concluding the meeting, the head of the Public Council wished all the listeners gathered in the audience to never be disappointed in their choice, to join the close-knit ranks of the medical and pharmaceutical communities and to carry their interest in the profession throughout their lives.
