This large-scale event, organized by the key industry associations, the Association of the Russian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (ARPM) and the Association of International Pharmaceutical Manufacturers (AIPM), gathers a unique list of speakers, including representatives of legislative and executive authorities, public and scientific organizations, businesses and the EAEU for 10 years.
This year, during the forum, it is planned to discuss issues of state regulation, improvements in the system of medicines procurement, quality control at manufacturers and work within the EAEU. «At the end of the last year, the international industry stated publicly its readiness to work on the requirements and procedures of the unified market of medicines in the EAEU, taking ambitious obligations to apply the first applications for registration in the beginning of 2018. This promise is confirmed by the specific legally significant actions, which gives grounds to state that the launch of the unified market has already taken place de facto. There is a need of practical discussion of registration dossier formation regarding the common rules, the choice of the reference country, the specifics of the application and the other aspects in the mode of professional dialogue between the representatives of regulators and expert organizations of the EAEU countries, and the business community. At the same time, issues of national regulation and enforcement, such as changes in the system of government procurement of medicines, the need to develop a set of activities to prevent the threats of manufacturing and sales of counterfeit medicines, mid-term results of the pilot marking project, and others, are also required with the comprehensive assessment.
