The General Director of the ARPM, Chairman of the Public Council under the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare (Roszdravnadzor) Victor Dmitriev took part in the round table «Dialogue between the regulator and the manufacturer — the release of medicinal products into civil circulation», which was held as part of the annual «PharmMedObraschenie 2025» conference.

The participants of the round table, moderated by Dmitry Somov, Acting General Director of the Federal State Budgetary Institution «Information and methodological center for examination, accounting and analysis of circulation of medical products» of Roszdravnadzor, focused on the current issues of releasing medicinal products into civil circulation in the context of the current geopolitical and economic situation. It should be noted that some representatives of the pharmaceutical business believe that Russian legislation in this area should be eased taking into account significant sanction restrictions. However, the head of the Association of Russian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers made it clear that he did not agree with them. «The introduction of sanctions is not a Russian initiative. It is necessary to influence those who introduce them, seeking to lift the restrictions, and not simplify domestic legislation,” he said.
