In the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions, circulation of medicines without labeling is still permitted. The regions are preparing for the introduction of drug labeling by forming the necessary technical base and conducting personnel training. Chairman of the Public Council under the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare (Roszdravnadzor) Victor Dmitriev returned from a trip to the new territories, where he met with the management of the pharmacy chains «Arnika» and «Narodnaya», discussing key aspects of starting work in the Drug Movement Monitoring system and preparing for licensing.

Also, a wide range of issues related to the functioning of the healthcare system in the new territories, the organization of medical care and drug provision to the population were raised during a working meeting with the head of the territorial body of Roszdravnadzor in the DPR Alexey Burtsev.

Together with the Acting Head of the Federal State Budgetary Institution «Information and Methodological center for examination, accounting and analysis of circulation of medical products» of Roszdravnadzor Dmitry Somov, the Donetsk branch of the Center and its current capabilities for conducting examination of the quality of medicines within the framework of state control were inspected.

The personnel issue was not ignored either: the head of the Public Council gave a lecture to students of the Donetsk State Medical University «What one need to know about the work of Roszdravnadzor», telling them not only about the areas of activity of the service itself, but also about the work of the Public Council. The rector of the Donetsk Medical University Grigory Ignatenko warmly thanked Victor Dmitriev for his long-term participation in the life of the University and read out the Order on awarding him the title «Honorary Professor of the Donetsk State Medical University named after M. Gorky» for his active participation in the formation of a positive image, prestige and significance of the university.
