The pre-New Year meeting of the members of the Association of Russian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers was held this time on Vorontsovo Pole in an old mansion that before the revolution belonged to a family of wealthy German entrepreneurs, Vogau, and which now houses the Russian Museum of Medicine. The very atmosphere of the mansion was conducive to dialogue, which took place between representatives of the ARPM member companies and representatives of relevant ministries and departments invited to the meeting: Aisylu Kamaletdinova, Deputy Director of the Department for Regulation of Circulation of Medicines and Medical Devices of the Ministry of Health of Russia, Dmitry Parkhomenko, Deputy Head of the Federal Service for Surveillance in Healthcare (Roszdravnadzor), Irina Krupnova, Head of the Department for Licensing and Control over Compliance with Mandatory Requirements of Roszdravnadzor, Dmitry Galkin, Director of the Department for Development of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Industry of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, Elena Kudryavtseva, Deputy Director General of the Federal State Budgetary Institution » Information and methodological center for examination, accounting and analysis of circulation of medical products» of Roszdravnadzor.
In the question-and-answer mode, specific issues of concern to the industry were raised, and the positions of federal executive authorities on them were voiced. Having thanked the government representatives for their professional approach to solving the most non-standard issues and attention to detail, Victor Dmitriev noted that thanks to the readiness of specialized regulators for an open dialogue with the pharmaceutical business, we are able to jointly make balanced and consolidated decisions aimed at strengthening the position of domestic pharma in the market and achieving drug independence of the Russian Federation.
The heads of the specialized working groups of the ARPM reported on the activities of the groups in the current year and announced further plans for 2025. Many initiatives put forward by the Association were developed at intergroup meetings and were even the result of joint discussions with colleagues from other industry associations, which once again proves the commonality of problems and approaches to their solution.
Concluding the meeting, Victor Dmitriev congratulated everyone on the upcoming holidays and noted the productive and professional work of the specialized working groups. «It is through the work in groups that systemic issues take on a concrete form, which we then resolve with the federal executive authorities. When there are clear examples, that the conversation takes place in the same language, then the issues are resolved faster,» he emphasized.
