Today, on 20th of June, a leading pharmaceutical exhibition of Asia CPhI & ICSE China 2017 has started in Shanghai. International exhibition of pharmaceutical technologies, ingredients and medicines is held for the 17th time. It is the biggest one in Asia which reflects development of pharmaceutical industry not only in China but the whole world.

More than 100 countries and about 2700 exhibits are represented at the event.

The main sponsor and initiator of the exhibition and conference CPhI China in People’s Republic of China (PRC) is China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Medicines & Health Products (CCCMHPIE), which collaborates with ARPM according to a signed agreement. The organizer of the exhibition is a British company called UBM International Media.

“Shanghai exhibition has become a traditional meeting place for professionals of the industry. Progression of “PHARMA-2020” stimulates the search of new business partners for manufacturing modernization, to create scientific and manufacturing alliances, to penetrate new markets. Russian companies, as usual, actively participate in the event. We are waiting new contacts become new contracts.” – Viktor Dmitriev, a CEO of ARPM has mentioned.

Trade and Economics collaboration of Russia and China has been establishing for decades. Today the turnover between two countries, according to the Federal Customs Service of Russia is growing. There was an increase of export of China pharmaceutical products up to $3.3 million in 2016, compare to 2015. Also, there was an import decrease of pharmaceutical products from China to Russia. Between 2015 and 2016 the import decreased for $11 million and a share of all the import market was 0.13%. It is easy to interpret this reaction by the global crisis. Having said that, the growth prospects are visible.
