The list of company members of the Association of the Russian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers has increased by a new member- pharmaceutical company KRKA, that is specialized in the production of generic medicine.

The history of the company started 60 years ago when a small pharmaceutical lab was opened in Novo Mesto, Slovenia. Today KRKA is an international pharmaceutical company that is one of the leaders in producing of generic medicine, and its products are presented in over 70 countries.

The main products of the company are both prescribed and over the counter medicine, cosmetics, and veterinary medicine. The company is primarily focusing on the production of  high-quality generics. All the medicine of the company is produced under the GMP rules.

The company has its own production and logistics center KRKA-RUS, which was GMP certified by the European commission. KRKA supplies Russia, the EU, and other countries. The company produces 36 essential drugs in 168 drug forms, which accounts for over 50% of sales and quantity of drug sales in Russia. KRKA increases the portion of drugs that are produced at the Russian plant.
